Good news is; Mikumi wildlife view not much affected by seasonality, therefore most of the animals can be seen throughout a year,
The flight from (Departs 09:30Am arrive 10: 30Am, Approximation) Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park, this is a perfect 5hrs up to 6hrs game safari if you just want to experience the wildlife and you’re limited on time travel. The drive from Dar es salaam to Mikumi takes about 7 hours plus 3-hour boat Safari from Zanzibar to Dar Es salaam. Full travel from Zanzibar to Mikumi seems complicated to some people, there fore they optional flight.
In this safari you will have only 5hrs up to 6hrs of game drive with your packed lunch, as your flight back to Zanzibar will depart 15:00pm and arrive in Zanzibar 17:00pm, Approximation this safari you will have an opportunity of almost 5hrs or 6hrs game drive through out mikumi national park and probably you will see a lot of animals including big five depending to weather.
1: Pick you up at the place of stay in Zanzibar and drive to the Airport for catch up your flight to Mikumi which departs, takes almost 1hours to arrive, Approximation on arrive to mikumi you will meet your driver/guide at the Airport to enjoy game drive to Mikumi National Park with your packed lunch, great animals sightings in different areas of the park like Mkata plain, Kisungura area and hippo dams. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and elephant. Our safari guide will assist you to spot animal easily by using radio call equipped on car to communicate with another guide, hope your safari will be enjoyed.
At the end of game drive our guide will drop off you to Airstrip where you will meet your awaiting flight back to Zanzibar. Plane will departure to mikumi in evening back to Zanzibar Island, That’s makes the end of your epic adventure.
